This week...

Once again, I stand and cast my eyes back over a very busy week. Each day that we were open brought many seeking assistance. It was a hard week for sure.

But there were also many blessings:

  • A wonderful Co-op luncheon on Wednesday. Forty eight in attendance to praise God and fellowship together.
  • Four, yes four, different pastors graced the door of the Co-op this week.
  • Pastor Matt brought in a small tv and Disney videos for the kids to watch during their LONG waits in the office trailer.
  • Sponsored about 70 families for Christmas. Still need more sponsors.
  • Someone "showing up" today and offering to haul away some rubbish behind the pantry trailer. Oh thank you so much!
  • John, the Census Guy taking applications for seasonal help. He will return on Dec. 18th. Great pay. Fun job.
  • Several food drives were delivered including Pharr and Starling Elementary schools and Gwinnett County Transit. Love those bus guys. They are good people.
  • Warm hugs from loving clients who always bring joy to my day.

Grace and Peace to you all.

Laura Drake
